We are a small creative studio nestled under the oaks, creating stories for children and the grown-ups who love them. Some of our stories sit quietly beside a child through life’s tender moments. Others lead readers down a trail of clues and into adventures shaped by history.

The Little Dog Series
Little Dog, a gentle Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with long floppy ears and big soulful eyes, is at the heart of our Little Dog stories.
He doesn’t speak with words, but his feelings are clear, tender, and true. Through moments of friendship, family, change, loss, curiosity, and love, Little Dog helps children explore emotions and experiences they may not always have the words for.
These heartfelt stories and activities are created for children and the grown-ups who love them, offering room for comfort, conversation, laughter, wondering, and hope.
Little Dog doesn’t have all the answers.
Sometimes he simply sits beside you while you find your own.

Led by Leon Beaglegard, a determined, big-hearted beagle from Cypress Parish, the Mystery Dogs of History™ follow four-legged sleuths into adventures where the clues are buried in the past.
Blending historical fiction with mystery and adventure, these stories lead readers through coded messages, hidden connections, unlikely heroes, and the events and people of history, with a good measure of Southern charm and canine wit along the way.
Here, history isn't something sitting quietly in a textbook.
